Ultimate anxiety Relief is a process that starts with an understanding of what is involved in the process of anxiety, and following a process, enabling you to control your anxieties, rather than them controlling you. Anxiety can be experienced by anyone, it’s a natural feeling brought on by stress or fear. It’s not generally a problem for most people, but when the anxiety starts to take over your life it does become a problem, and really needs to be addressed.

Anxiety can become a problem even if there is no real danger or threat, but just the perception of one. It may be completely unwarranted but if it goes on and on it may eventually be diagnosed as an Anxiety Disorder.

The initial symptoms may originate from some fear or threat, but can also be a learned behavior, perhaps from anxious parents. Anxiety may also be triggered by a mental or emotional stressor. In these times of uncertainty about the economy and unemployment, many people worry about money, this may be an anxiety for you too.  People worry about many different things and any one thing can cause some degree of anxiety. An exam, bills that need to be paid, career choices or marital issues may seem irrational to some but to the anxiety sufferer, they are a very real problem.

These feelings can become quite overwhelming, especially if they have been going on for a while. Some of the physical effects, although not life threatening can be very real and stressful to the person suffering them. They may think they are gravely ill or going to die. This keeps the symptoms going in a cycle of anxiety and stress that is difficult to get free from without professional help.

Some of the physical effects include: Sweaty palms, chest pain, shortness of breath, quickening heartbeat, upset stomach, headaches, trembling.  These symptoms are a natural occurrence stemming from the body’s fight or flight response.

During this response a release of adrenaline prepares the body to defend itself against a threat or danger. The heart quickens pumping more blood to the muscles and brain, and the breathing rate increases to give more oxygen, the digestive system slows down and nausea or sickness may also be present.  Experiencing some of these symptoms may lead to the person experiencing a full blown panic attack.
