What is Brain Entrainment?

Brain entrainment is an idea that has been around for centuries however it has gained new popularity as people turn to new methods to improve their mental abilities.

So what is brain entrainment?

Brain entrainment is simply the practice of using special audio tracks called binaural beats to create certain frequencies in the brain which will alter the way in which the listener thinks and acts.

How does this work?

Well first we need to understand exactly how the brain works.  Your brain emits a series of different brainwave frequencies.

These brainwave frequencies can cause chemical reactions in the body which affect your thoughts and your actions.

For example, during deep sleep the brain typically emits theta brainwaves while during a period of high activity the brain emits alpha waves.

The brainwaves that are emitted vary depending on your thoughts and actions.

So how do binaural beats influence your brainwaves?

Binaural beats cause your brain to emit certain brainwaves so that you can actively change your thoughts and actions.

There is a binaural beat in this system that is specifically designed to help you relax while another will help you to concentrate and focus on tasks that you need to do.

This is an extremely brief overview of the amazing benefits of brain entrainment and I hope it answers some basical questions about brain entrainment.
