Panic attacks, also called anxiety attacks are very common. In panic attacks, people react hysterically on a certain time most especially when they do not know what is going on around them. And when such attacks are not properly treated, it could lead to suicide. Below are some ideas on how to get rid of panic attacks.
Avoid Stimulants. It is best to avoid drugs or stimulants that can make you feel more alert. Some examples include ephedrine, ginseng, amphetamines, cigarettes, coffee, or even marijuana. Because these substances can weaken one’s system regulation, it can easily cause one to suffer from anxiety disorder.
Learn to Manage your Stress. So as to avoid experiencing anxiety attacks, try to take further steps to help minimize stress in your life. There are people who suffer attacks when they are in common situations like being in public, riding on airplanes, losing a job, or losing a loved one. Find ways on how you can gradually deal with your attacks. You don’t necessarily have to avoid situations but at least, try to realize how the situation affects you.
Breathing Exercise. Learning the right way of breathing can gradually help you get rid of your panic attacks. Start by taking slow deep breaths, hold it for some seconds, and then gently release it through your mouth. The goal of the exercise is to make your breath last longer.
These are some ways on how to get rid of panic attacks. Although these are helpful, you still need to see the proper medical practitioner to deal with your concern.
