Anxiety Attack Help - Do You Really Need It?

When you have an anxiety attack the only think that you want is to stop it immediately. I wanted to shout at my husband anxiety attack help
All of us feel worry, certain fears, gets nervous or concerned. To a certain degree, anxiousness is healthy as long as the emotion is relative to the circumstances. However, an experience episode of anxiety attacks is different.
Common symptoms:
Shaking and shivering
Fear of going crazy
Dry mouth
Body pain (such as shoulder, neck, mouth, jaw, stomached and headaches)
Heart palpitation or the feeling that the heart is missing beats
Chest pain
Feeling detach or unreal. Everything around you is like a dream, foggy and unreal.
Shortness of breath
Different people have different symptoms and intensity when experiencing an anxiety attack.
When these episodes take control of your life and stop you from leading a normal one is when you need to seek anxiety attack help.
To be conscious about the attack is the main weapon to fight an anxiety or panic attacks because when you feel or know that you are under a panic attack, it is by far much easier for you to counter the effects of the symptoms.
Anxiety or Panic attacks can happen to anyone. It can happen to stressed and depressed person as well as cheerful and healthy ones. It can occur without warning, with no apparent reason
What You should Do if You Had a Panic Attack
- Consider the following advices:
- Consult your medical doctor. Symptoms attributed to panic attacks such racing heart, chest pain, heavy breathing, profuse sweating, agitation, etc., are also common to other physiological and psychological conditions.
- Find the cause of the attack.
- Learn some relaxation techniques you can practice at home or while out. Yoga, meditation, and breathing techniques are not only helpful in reducing the symptoms during the actual attack but they are great for your well being.
- Relax, do not add more fear.
- Have a healthy lifestyle (regular exercise, balanced diet, and enough sleep). Studies prove that balanced diet keeps the supply of nutrients and maintains the balance of chemical in the body. Exercise as little as 30 minutes 3 to 5 times a week is a great stress buster, helpful in preventing future attacks. Sleeping at least 8 hours each day (I need 10) recharges the body, refreshes the mind, and calms the muscles.
- Remove all unnecessary stress. Since, anxiety and panic attacks are closely linked to stress, avoiding people, things, and situations that stress you out help reduce the chance of future attacks.
- Educate yourself about anxiety attacks. There are many resources where you can learn more about the condition.
