There is no exact cause of major depression found till date. But scientists are still doing researches to find the exact reason. Some of the causes that are believed to be the causes of depression are, Biological and genetic reasons. Apart from these stress and emotions also are the biggest reasons of depression. It is very difficult to get rid of major depression. There are so many types of depression that fall in the category of severe depression. Clinical depression, chronic disorders, bipolar disorders and major depression are some of the types of depression with severe symptoms. Major depression with severe symptoms usually last for long time. Most of the treatment methods do not respond to severe depression.

While this form of treatment for depression is effective once again it may only as effective as the relationship between you and your practitioner.
Meditation and yoga is also great help.There are some meditation techniques using which you can easily beat depression for once and all. Make yoga and meditation as a part of your routine. Sparing 30 to 40 minutes for yoga daily is not a tough task.
Do not let negative thoughts to appear in your mind. Avoid them by keeping yourself busy or staying positive.
You need to stop drinking alcohol, as alcohol contains some substances that are not good for human brain and may lead you to depressive state. If you are already suffering from depression then you need to quit alcohol immediately before it gets severe.
Do not be in a company of those people that spread negative vibes.
