I personally believe that anxiety and stress are related because stress is usually the precursor to anxiety. For example, Say you’re stressing out about money. You have more month left, than money, and so you’re wondering how you’re going to pay your bills.
The more you’re thinking about it all of a sudden the anxiety creeps up. Once anxiety creeps up you may start having all these strange sensations happening. Now, those sensations could be you’re feeling sweaty, dizzy, sick to your stomach, feelings of doom, and just over all, you feel horrible.
So, I would say that is definitely anxiety. I would also probably go as far to say that you are experiencing an anxiety attack, if it got that far. Now, let’s backtrack a little bit and say okay, if that was an anxiety attack then what you want to do is not to have anxiety kick in.
In order for that to happen you have to stop stressing for that to be able to happen. You have to stop freaking out about the bills or whatever it is, that is bothering you. Because you freaking out doesn’t change the situation that you’re in the matter how upset you get or nervous or worried or whatever the emotion is that you’re experiencing.
That is not going to change the outcome at all of you paying your bills or whatever the issue is. Use all of that energy that you’re putting into all these emotions to come up with a solution to your problem by redirecting all of that energy.
I know it is easier said than done, but you can do it. Your special and I know you’re special because you’re reading this article.
