Posted by anxiouswill in Prescription Anxiety Drugs on November 14th, 2009
Many people these days are searching for natural anxiety help. Unfortunately, anxiety affects many people, from all walks of life and from all over the world and the number of sufferers seems to be growing. To combat it, many turn to medication, which is not always the best option in a lot of cases.
So in this article, I hope to provide three natural alternatives to medication that are effective in relieving stress and anxiety and will work for most people.
1. Chamomile Tea.?
One simple way is?to?try a cup of chamomile tea twice a day. It’s freely available in most places but health food stores will definitely stock it. When drinking it, sip it slowly making sure to inhale the aromas. It may seems old fashioned but many old fashioned things still work and this is one of them.
2. Get Enough Sleep.
Make sure that you are getting enough sleep every night in a suitably dark room. Also be sure your bed is providing adequate support and the temperature is not too hot. You should aim for at least 8 hours of sleep and if necessary, use relaxation CDs or MP3s to help you get quality sleep. These are readily available online.
3. Journaling.
Journaling is one activity that has been shown to reduce stress and anxiety in many people. It’s often overlooked but it does work. Recording your thoughts, feelings, dreams, and goals in a notebook on a regular basis can do wonders for you. Start today.
